CLC is under the umbrella of Steppin' Out Ministries which is registered with the International Federation of Christian Churches (IFCC). Each CLC campus has the covering of a local church.
All lecturers are well grounded in the Word of God and acting in a leadership role. Each lecturer is committed to teaching and training the saints for the work of the ministry in accordance with Ephesians 4:11:12-13 "...... and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up".
In addition, students will benefit from the ministry of visiting speakers.
It is the desire of leadership to serve the church by training and equipping each student to do great works in the name of Jesus in their local fellowship (and "to the ends of the earth"), irrespective of denomination and regardless of intellectual skills or any other abilities.
Our emphasis is not head knowledge and theological facts and at this point, CLC is not accredited with governing body.
The purpose of CLC is to impart Bible truths into the student whilst encouraging and equipping the believer to:- · enjoy a deeper and more intimate relationship with God . be equipped to live a relevant, effective and victorious Christian life · establish and develop faith in Jesus Christ and God’s Word . develop Christian virtues and build a strong character · develop a positive and healthy attitude to servant hood in the local church · understand their authority, rights, privileges and responsibility as a Christian . learn how to enjoy a healthy attitude to biblical prosperity and walk in divine health · reach their full potential in Christ · fulfil their purpose and God’s call on their life
The focus will be on the importance and truth of God's Word, the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the reality of who we are in Christ and the power of prayer, praise and worship.
